Location
Alanya is located on the east side of Antalya Bay, in position
Latitude 36° 32’ N and Longitude 32° 00’ E.
The port is at the heart of the city, enclosed by a 209m high promontary, and well sheltered.

Time Zone
GMT + 3 hours in summer. GMT + 2 hours in winter.

Operator
ALIDAS Co. Inc. is the private operator in charge of managing the terminal with a 30 year concession.

Operational Hours
The port operates round the clock, including national and religious holidays.

PILOTAGE
Compulsory for all vessels of 150 GRT and above, entering or leaving the harbour. Alanya Pilot monitors Channels 16 & 12, and boards 1 mile S of the jetty. Notification of ship's ETA should be reported to the Pilotage Station 24 hours in advance, and confirmed or corrected not less than 4 hours prior to arrival. Ships at anchor may leave without Pilot.

ANCHORAGE
Ships may anchor 3 to 4 cables SE of the jetty where depths range from 15 to 20 m. The bottom is sandy.

Tidal Range
The tidal range on spring tide is 40cm

Terminal Area
The 3000 sqm. ground includes a fully air-conditioned passenger lounge, the offices of Harbour Master, Customs, Immigration, Port Health, duty-free shop, restaurant, cafeteria and telephone booths.The banks and post office are within 10 minutes walking distance.

Largest Vessel
Dream Princess, 195m in length with draft of 7m has been coming alongside the jetty twice a week since summer 2005.
