Port Profile
Description Reinforced concrete general purpose finger pier.
Port Limits Located on the southeast of Canoan Bay, Larena, Siquijor. To the North is Enrique Villanueva and to the south is Siquijor town.

Navigational Aids One lighthouse at the higher land of Larena (operational).
Entrance Channel Outside the mouth of the Canoan Bay which is still a part of Mindanao Sea; Dumaguete City to the west, Cebu and Bohol Islands to the North.
Topographic Conditions Mountain-like ridges gradually rising to the central peal a few kilometers from the coastline.
Climatological Condition The island province of Siquijor falls under the Rainfall Zone 3 with an intermediate A type of rainfall. It has a short dry season from March to May. Due to its central location being covered by the islands of Cebu, Bohol, Mindanao and Negros, Siquijor is seldom visited by typhoons.
Hydrographic Condition Controlling depth of the pier is 3 meters. Banks slope gradually towards the center of the Canoan Bay.
Access Road The asphalted Paseo Rizal leads to the elevated poblacion, then to the national highway to Siquijor town to the south and Enrique Villanueva to the North.
Description Reinforced concrete finger piers supported by concrete piles and handling general cargoes, containers and passengers both domestic and foreign traffic.
Berthing Facilities 80.0 meters long and 9 meters wide, now with R.C. Pier extension of 33 meters x 9 meters; draft alongside is 3.0 meters.
Storage Facilities Open storage of 2,727 sq. m. of reclaimed area, with transit shed measuring 12m x 30m.
Anchorage Facilities Anchorage area of 360 x 180 meters within the Canoan Bay.
Other Facilities One passenger terminal with a floor area of 128.25 sq. m. provided with GI roofing and concrete benches
PORT SERVICES
Cargo Handling Cargo handling services are offered by Quijano Terminal Services Company, a de facto operator, with more than ten years of experience, maintaining a labor force of some 50 personnel and laborers. Its cargo handling equipment is listed under the equipment section (PPA CH take-over is still under litigation)
Pilotage Vessels may contact the harbor pilots of the Dumaguete Pilots Association, Siquijor Island being under the jurisdiction of the Dumaguete Port District.
Watering Available from the Larena Water Works; 24 hour advance notice and pre-payment are required.
Trucking Trucking services are provided by the shipper/consignee and by the arrastre operator of the port.
