United Airlines sees cargo ton miles grow 5.5pc in July

United Airlines has reported that in July its passenger load factor was 87.3 per cent while cargo ton miles grew by 5.5 per cent to 168.93 million year on year.

Total scheduled revenue passenger miles (RPM) decreased in July by 1.4 per cent to 10.92 billion miles on a capacity decrease of one per cent in scheduled available seat miles (ASM) to 12.50 billion miles compared year on year.

United operates flights to more than 200 US domestic and international destinations from its hubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago and Washington, DC.
