Cargolux Airlines has accepted its fifteenth B747-400 freighter from Boeing. The new aircraft will ply Cargolux’s international routes within in the next few days.
“We have operated the B747-400F for many years with excellent results,” said Cargolux president & CEO Uli Ogiermann.
“The 747-400 provides us with the most modern technology, and we will continue this with the new 747-8 freighter from 2009 onwards,” he added.
Luxembourg-based Cargolux now operates fifteen B747-400 freighters on a worldwide network covering 90 destinations, 57 of which are served on scheduled all-cargo flights.
