In response to increasing market demand since introducing service in 2003, Cargolux has added a second weekly frequency to Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The new flight leaves Luxembourg every Thursday at 08h50 and is routed via Lagos to arrive in Kinshasa at 18h00 on the same day. The flight continues to Nairobi in Kenya, arriving at 00h55 on Fridays.
The flight returns to Luxembourg via Maastricht every Friday.
The existing flight is operated on exactly the same route, leaving Luxembourg on Sundays and arriving back on Tuesdays.
The Kinshasa station serves primarily as an import hub for cargo from Europe, the US, the Gulf Region and some Asian countries.
