China Southern Airlines is preparing to start a new service from Shanghai to Cebu in the Philippines from July 27.
This will be its third service to the Philippines after its Guangzhou-Manila and Beijing-Xiamen-Manila service, Logistics Week reports.
The new service will use an Airbus 319 with flights leaving Tuesdays and Fridays at 2100 hrs from Shanghai's Hongqiao Airport and arriving in Cebu at 0045 hrs the next day. Flights return Wednesdays and Saturdays at 0145 hrs from Cebu, arriving in Shanghai at 0545 hrs.
On July 2, the carrier launched a service from its hub in Guangzhou to Rangoon, the capital of Myanmar. Later on July 10, the carrier again started a service from Guangzhou to Thailand's Phuket, and another new service also from Guangzhou to Siem Reap, Cambodia on July 12.
