JETT8 Airlines Cargo, Singapore's newest cargo airline, will be providing service from JetQuay CIP Terminal at Singapore's Changi Airport.

Jett8 is the second Singapore-based airline to offer all-cargo flights at the airport after Singapore Airlines Cargo.

Jett8 launched its inaugural flight in June to Hong Kong. Operating with B747-200 freighter aircraft with a capacity of 100 tons, the airline has since expanded to Dubai, Manchester and Luxembourg.

Said Singapore Transport Minister Lim Hwee Hua: "The establishment of Jett8 reflects the conducive operating environment at Changi that supports the entry and growth of new players in the airline industry."

Last year, Changi Airport was ranked sixth in the world for international cargo tonnage, making it one of Asia's top four players. Changi Airport is served by about 80 scheduled airlines, operating 4,200 weekly scheduled flights to more than 190 cities in 59 countries, a statement from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) said.
