SCHENKER will upgrade its Air Fleet Network cargo capabilities and services throughout Canada in October, reports Logistics Management magazine.
The upgrade includes earlier arrivals and later departures in each Canadian city Schenker serves, and a new dedicated aircraft for the carrier's hub in Vancouver, British Columbia. Changes will affect Canada-US service as well, the company said.
Among them will be an increased capacity in Alberta with more inbound and outbound positions, which will provide flexibility to meet northern Alberta demand. Saskatchewan transit time will improve. Eastern Canada will benefit with earlier daily arrivals between 0630 hrs and 0700 hrs, including same night delivery to western Canada from Toronto.
