China Eastern Airlines to offer Kunming-Kolkata service

CHINA Eastern Airlines is to start offering a thrice-weekly flights from southwest China city of Kunming to India's Kolkata, Logistics Week reported.

The new service will be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays using flight number of MU555/6. Flights from Kunming to Kolkata will take off at 2320 hrs and arrive at Kolkata at 0140 hrs. Return flights will leave at 0340 hrs from Kolkata and reach Kunming at 0600 hrs. The journey covers a distance of 1,524 kilometres and takes 135 minutes.

On September 7, Eastern Airlines added a new weekly flight to the twice-weekly Ningbo-Seoul service.

Flights from Ningbo to Seoul use the number of MU277, take off Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 1920 hrs and arrive at Seoul at 2140 hrs. Returning flights use the number of MU278 and leave Seoul Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 0855 hrs and arrive at Ningbo at 0950 hrs.
