BRITISH Airways Plc will finance the purchase of 36 new aircraft through a leasing deal with Chinese banks, the Sunday Telegraph reported, without saying where it got the information. The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is one of the lenders involved in the agreement, the newspaper said. This is the first time Chinese banks have participated in a deal of this kind, the Sunday Telegraph said.
