THE government of Wuhan has entered an agreement with a Shenzhen-based investor to build an air logistics park next to the city's airport, Logistics Week reported.
The facility in the central Chinese city in the middle reaches of the Yangtze, will cost CNY340 million (US$45 million) and offer air cargo handling and ground service.
The first phase of the project will create a domestic cargo handling area, an international cargo handling area and a transshipment area, covering 17.2 hectares. The second phase will consist of aircraft hangars and facility storage buildings, covering 16 hectares.
