New head for Budapest Airport

18-Oct-2007 : JOST Lammers (right), is to take over as chief executive of Budapest Airport replacing Dr Reinhard Kalenda, from 1 December. Dr Kalenda will remain in his position as chairman of the Board of Directors of BA.

Lammers said: “I am honoured to become chief executive officer of Budapest Airport and to take up the baton from Dr Kalenda. I have spent almost my entire professional life at airports, so I am looking forward to my next task with joy, anticipation and commitment. Budapest Airport, just like Hungary and Budapest, has great potential for further growth and is facing a promising period. With the implementation of our long-term plans, I am sure we will make the best of it, and we will make Budapest Airport the most successful airport in central Eastern Europe.”
