Singapore firm disassociates self with Indian namesake

DRAFT-CARGOWAYS Private Limited of Singapore wishes to announce that it has nothing to do with Draft Cargo India, despite the similarity in the names of the two firms.

In a communique from the Singapore company, signed by managing director Jin Teo, it is stated that Draft-Cargoways Private Limited registered its name with the authorities in Singapore on January 13, 2004. Under the trademark registration, the company provides services including air transport, freight forwarding, warehousing, packing and crating.

The Singapore company said in its communique that it has "no infinity directly or indirectly, nor any business dealing with this company (in India) and/or their affiliations, subsidiaries, branches or whatsoever locally and abroad".
