A British shipping company has ordered two large passenger ferries from Norwegian shipbuilder Aker Yards, the company said in a statement Friday. The ferries are to be built in Finland at Aker's shipyard in Rauma.
The order, placed by P&O Ferries, is valued at 360 million euros.
Aker's Rauma shipyard is to deliver the ships for use in the English channel in 2010 and 2011.
