There Is No Need in Special Port Economic Zones

The RF Ministry of transport plans to establish special port economic zones in 5-6 major sea commercial ports of Russia. According to specialist of the PR-department of the ministry Lyubov Britvina, it is scheduled to conduct a special session of the inter-department tender commission of the Ministry of economic development, the Ministry of transport and the Federal Agency of special economic zones management in September 2008.

At the same time head of the press-service of the Federal Agency of special economic zones management Olga Krasotina said that there is no a clear-cut decision on the special port economic zones tender.
