Modern logistics is a new and growing industry in 21 century. It is reported that the average rising rate is 13% in the global third-party logistics markets. China will build 10 large and 50 small logistics centers across the whole nation before 2010, and till 2015 it will become the biggest economy body in the world. Under the circumstance of demands driving economy to rapid development, there exist lots of opportunities for the manufacturers and suppliers dealing with logistics technology and service.

Shanghai is one of the biggest cities in China, and also the financial and trade center. The deep-water port, airport and information port already in considerable scale provide basic qualifications for Shanghai developing into modernized international logistics center. An important project on exploiting Yangshan deep-water port is starting work.

About CITA-IMHCL CHINA 2006
On June 30, 2006, CITA-IMHCL Expo 2006 successfully concluded in Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center. The exhibition with its more than 380 booths attracted more than 180 enterprises from America, Germany, Canada, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Hongkong, Taiwan and Chinese mainland and more than 18000 visitors, which is a grand expo aiming to propagandize the flourishing logistics industry of China and push it to the global market. After one-year dedicated preparation, CITA- IMHCL Shanghai has gained its reputation, and been selected as one of candidates of Brand Exhibitions in Shanghai. It is expected that the exhibition in 2007 will occupy an exhibition area of 20000 square meters and attracts more than 300 enterprises.
