3rd Session of ¡°Matching Chinese and Foreign enterprises¡± Launched in Xi¡¯an

On the afternoon of April 7, the program of “Matching Chinese and Foreign enterprises” in the 11th Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East&West China was launched in Xi’an, which was hosted by CCPIT and Shaanxi provincial government, and organized by Economic Information Dept. of CCPIT and Shaanxi Branch of CCPIT.

Lin Ling, vice director of Economic Information Dept., presided over the opening ceremony, which was attended by Chinese senior officials and some 300 foreign investors from more than 20 regions around the world, together with some 500 representatives from Chinese enterprises. Those officials included CCPIT Vice Chairman Wang Jinzhen, Shaanxi Vice-Governor Luo Zhenjiang, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR deputy director Gao Yan, South Korea former premier Mr.Lee Soo Sung,, member of CPPCC Wu Shuqing who is also vice president of World Trade Center Association, Mississauga Mayor McCallion, executive president of Shaanxi Branch of CCPIT Liu Ajin, Xi’an Deputy Mayor Yang Guangxin.

During the opening ceremony, CCPIT Vice Chairman Wang Jinzhen and Shaanxi Vice-Governor Luo Zhenjiang delivered an opening speech respectively, before the following attendees all made their presentations: South Korea former premier Mr.Lee Soo Sung,, Mississauga Mayor McCallion, chairman of Asian Affairs of US Chamber of Commerce, vice director of Public Affairs of Amway Corporation Mr. Holwill, general representative in China of JETRO Shibafuta, CEO of Siemens (China) Dr. Richard Hausmann. Before the ceremony began, Wang Jinzhen and Luo Zhenjiang both met with the guests attending the ceremony.

After the ceremony, some 800 attendees both at home and abroad went on with one-to-one talks of cooperation based on their predetermined matching results, held in 6 sub theme halls categorized by regions and trades as “Canada Hall”, “Russia Hall”, “America Hall”, “France Hall”, “Macao Hall” and “General Hall”.

This has been the 3rd session of “Matching Chinese and Foreign enterprises”, an important part of the 11th Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East&West China£¬which has been highly embraced by enterprises both at home and abroad.
Hosted by CCPIT and Shaanxi provincial government, the 11th Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East&West China was scheduled on April 6-10, in Xi’an.
