Jebel Ali blasts will not affect shipping, says official

Dubai's busy Jebel Ali port was the scene of fierce explosions that ripped through a chemical storage depot earlier today. It was the second fire in two weeks at the busiest container port in the Middle East.

No injuries were reported and there was no disruption to shipping, a spokesman for the port said.
