Buffett buys more rail stock

Warren Buffett's investment company has bought another 845,000 shares of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. stock according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission late Thursday.
The Associated Press said that brings the tycoon's stake in the Fort Worth, Texas-based railroad to 15 percent, just short of 53 million shares.
It said it was unclear whether Buffett himself or one of his companies made the purchase.
AP said a May SEC filing revealed Berkshire owned 10.5 million shares of Union Pacific Corp. and nearly 6.4 million shares of Norfolk Southern Corp.
