Kuehne + Nagel to provide supply chain solutions for Redline

REDLINE Communications, a provider of standards-based wireless broadband solutions, has chosen Kuehne + Nagel to provide it with global supply chain service.

This will integrate international and domestic transportation management, contract logistics and related value-added services, with global network visibility, inventory and order management, a Kuehne + Nagel statement said.

Kuehne + Nagel has established logistics operations for Redline in Toronto, Dallas and Taipei. The company also has deployed its supply logistics applications, which include replenishment algorithms that help improve order accuracy and inventory management.

Said Redline vice president Dave Mentzer: "We chose Kuehne + Nagel because it was able to meet our high demand for operational flexibility, reliability and cost effectiveness. It has demonstrated the ability to move our products globally from manufacturing, through distribution, to our end market."
