CSCL Japan, Nippon Express join in logistics venture

China Shipping Container Japan Co Ltd, CSCL's Japanese agent, has set up a logistics company with Japan's leading freight forwarder Nippon Express, Logistics Week reported.

The two parties invested half of the JPY40 million (US$341,000) total on the new firm called CNJ World Logistics.

China Shipping Container Japan and Nippon Express signed joint venture agreement on July 26, in a bid to combine their respective strengths in container shipping and logistics, the report added.
