global management team meets in Taipei

EVERGREEN Line staged its 2007 Global Agency Management Meeting (GAMM) in Taipei on October 11-12, the company reports.

The event, which took place in the Chang Yung-fa Foundation Building, saw nearly 200 of Evergreen Line's senior management and agency partners attending, representing over 70 countries.

Evergreen group chairman Chang Yung-fa opened the event and topics covered during the two-day meeting included service and fleet expansion, yield management, intermodal systems, marine safety and e-commerce strategy.

To lighten the load, Mr Chang also arranged a concert by the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra for GAMM managers on the meeting's first day.
