Kuehne + Nagel signs 10-year contract with Britvic

KN DRINKS Logistics, the drinks distribution arm of global logistics provider, Kuehne + Nagel, has been awarded a 10-year contract by Britvic Soft Drinks to carry out secondary distribution and vending machine replenishment throughout the UK.

A company statement said Britvic Soft Drinks is one of the leading branded soft drinks businesses in the UK, owning brands such as Pepsi, Robinsons, Tango and J2O.

Under the terms of the new agreement, the secondary retail and full service vending networks have been absorbed into the KN Drinks Logistics distribution network, with the respective employees transferring to Kuehne + Nagel under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE).

The new contract will see KN Drinks Logistics undertake deliveries ofBritvic soft drinks to pubs, bars and food service outlets across the country, along with the replenishment of 10,000 vending machines. Warehousing services will be also be provided.
