Kuehne + Nagel contracted Benettons logistics arm in Taiwan

KUEHNE + NAGEL Taiwan has been contracted to provide integrated logistics services for Benetton Trading Taiwan's retail operations. Benetton Trading Taiwan is a subsidiary of one of the world's leading manufacturers of casual clothing, footwear and accessories.

"We are delighted to have been chosen as the logistics partner by Benetton. The contract is an endorsement of our competitive offering in retail logistics. In order to ensure high service standards and quality, we have made significant investments into our systems, facilities and manpower," said Kuehne + Nagel managing director Stephan Danne.

Under the terms of the agreement, Kuehne + Nagel will be responsible for a variety of services ranging from managing the transportation of merchandise to Taiwan by air and sea, to import customs clearance, storage and delivery of the ordered goods to the Italian brand's 60 shops across Taiwan.

In addition, Kuehne + Nagel will provide a number of value-added services, including labelling, reverse logistics and the repacking of Benetton merchandise in Taiwan.
