Beijing's 11th Five Year Plan calls for 10 logistics zones

BEIJING plans to build 10 integrated logistics zones during the 11th Five Year Plan (2006-2010), Xinhua reported.

The logistics zones will be located in Wangzuo, Wulidian, Shibalidian, Songzhuang and Machikou, the report said.

Beijing plans to set up a logistics system with three layers including logistics bases, integrated logistics zones and specialised logistics zones during the 11th Five Year Plan. The present integrated logistics zones, including Daxing Jingnan and Yanqing Jingxibei, will be upgraded to logistics bases, the report said.
