YRC Logistics names Friedlander managing director for Asia

YRC Logistics, a subsidiary of Kansas-based YRC Worldwide Inc., has named Eric Friedlander as its managing director for Asia.

Friedlander was senior vice president for Asia development at YRC Logistics and the chief operating officer of YRC Logistics Asia. Prior to that, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer at YRC Logistics.

Asia is a significant part of the YRCW growth strategy and we have made numerous acquisitions and investments in China and throughout the region over the last three years in support of this strategy including logistics, forwarding, ground transportation and technology, Friedlander said.
