Kleinmayer to head integration of YRC Chinese logistics acquisition

YRC Logistics has named Michael Kleinmayer assistant general manager for its ground transportation company in China.

The move comes as YRC Logistics, a unit of YRC Worldwide, is set to wrap up its acquisition of Shanghai Jiayu Logistics Co. Ltd., a Chinese ground transportation company, pending approval by the Chinese government. Kleimeyer's duties will include the integration of the Chinese company into YRC, as well as all day-to-day operations at Jiayu, including maintaining and enhancing vendor and client relationships in China, as well as the development and execution of strategic initiatives.

Most recently Kleimeyer served as director of shipment quality for YRC North American Transportation. He's also served in other YRC units like YRC Worldwide Enterprise Services and Roadway Express.
