Sterling Transportation has appointed Bruce Roberts to president and chief operating officer.
He replaces Keith Davis, founder and owner, who has assumed the role of chairman and chief executive officer of the Los Angeles-based less-than-truckload carrier.
Prior to this appointment, Roberts served as corporate vice president at Sterling.
Other senior appointments include Sinara Pereia, vice president and controller, to vice president of finance; and Richard Garcia, regional manager of the U.S. Southeast, to regional vice president of U.S. Southeast.
Ty Bradford joined Sterling as vice president of operations.
All three executives will report to Roberts, the company said in a statement.
