W. Gregory Lehmkuhl has been installed as executive vice president of operations for motor carrier Con-way Freight, ostensibly filling the role held by David Miller before being transferred the day before to a corporate-level position.
Parent company Con-way Inc. promoted Lehmkuhl from sister operating company Menlo Worldwide Logistics, where he was vice president of the Automotive Industry Group the past seven years. He will start his new job by the end of September and report to Con-way Freight President John Labrie.
Miller, Con-way Freight's chief operating officer, was named this week to fill the new position of vice president, global policy and economic sustainability for the Con-way organization.
