British Airways World Cargo will Oct. 2 lower its fuel surcharge to .69/$1.05/1.05 euros.
The airline said the reduction follows a second consecutive week that its fuel index has been below the level 21 threshold.
While high fuel prices remain a very real challenge for the industry, over recent weeks prices have been steadily falling. This has triggered a fourth consecutive decrease in our fuel surcharge in line with the index, said Adam Carson, senior manager revenue management of British Airways World Cargo.
