ECU-LINE Antwerp has launched a new groupage service from Antwerp to Tripoli in Libya.

The Belgian company said in a statement that the service is based on the sailings of Brointermed Lines, which offers a departure every 10 days from Antwerp. Depending on the port rotation, transit time amounts to approximately 13 days.

At this point an agency agreement has been signed with Al Marfa Shipping and Maritime Services, which are experienced in handling groupage containers arriving from the United Kingdom.

For the time being shipments can only be booked on a prepaid basis. Until further notice Imco cargo cannot be accepted, the statement added.
