Ground-breaking begins for UPS in China

The Shanghai Airport Authority has conducted a formal ground-breaking ceremony for the brand new UPS international air terminal at Pudong airport. UPS, alongside the other major integrators, FedEx, DHL and TNT, has long identified China as a key market for future Growth. UPS’s general freight has grown alongside its express business, since its acquisition of Menlo and the company will be looking to substantially grow both sectors following the opening of the facility.
