Ukraine intends to raise US$72.3 million for development of container terminals on the Black Sea at the ports of Kherson, Illichivsk and Berdinask, according to Warsaw's Railway Market Magazine.
The projects have been included in the state's programme of economic and social development of 2008, passed within the framework of a co-operation plan with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the magazine said.
According to preliminary data, Kherson port needs an investment of EUR26.9 million (US$36.3 million), Illichivsk port needs EUR32.9 million while Berdiansk port needs EUR16.7 million.
