China Cargo launches Xiamen-Pudong-Osaka service

CHINA Cargo Airlines has launched a freighter service from Xiamen to Japan's Osaka Airport via Shanghai's Pudong Airport, reports Xinhua.

Most cargo from Xiamen airport will be flown to Osaka, while some will be handled through Pudong and transsitted on other international flights to Seoul, Paris and Zurich, among other destinations.

It is a new venture for Xiamen Customs to engage in trans-regional customs co-operation with Shanghai by allowing China Cargo Airlines to distribute Xiamen customs-cleared cargo, said a customs official.
