FAR East Shipping Co. (FESCO) has announced it will launch new container services from North China to eastern Russia in early September this year to meet surging trading demand between the two regions, Xinhua reported.
The rotation of the new service will be: Tianjin Xingang, Vladivostok and Vostchny. Vessel of the maiden voyage will depart Tianjin Xingang on Saturday September 8.
Meanwhile, FESCO decided to upgrade the south China-Russia service by replacing the two 1,060-TEU ships with two new 1,750-TEU vessels after trade between the two surged 80 per cent over two years, the report said.
