CMA CGM orders con-ros for Delmas

France's CMA CGM Group has ordered four multipurpose container and roll-on/roll-off (con-ro) vessels from Hyundai Mipo in South Korea.

The 29,000-deadweight-ton vessels, due for delivery in the second half of 2011, will have a 600-unit car capacity and be able to carry 1,738 TEUs.

The new ships will replace existing 1,300-TEU con-ro ships used in the Africa trades of CMA CGM affiliate Delmas.
