New structure for optimal usage of market opportunities

The business activities of the foreign shipyards of Kockums AB, Sweden and Hellenic Shipyards SA, Greece - both part of the TKMS Group - will be integrated into these new structures. These companies specialize in

submarine and naval surface vessel construction.

The re-structuring process demonstrates that ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems AG is reacting to the changing situation in global shipbuilding. Internal organization structures will also continue to be improved as part of this

process. The result will be a more responsive, customer- and market-oriented approach to business, also allowing the processes and workflows within the company to be more efficiently designed.

Monostructures are to be avoided at all TKMS sites. No personnel changes are foreseen as a result of the re-structuring process.
