the 17th US-China joint Commission on Commerce and Trade

THE 18th US-China Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade will be held in Beijing on December 11, Deputy US Trade Representative Karan Bhatia said yesterday.

The third US-China Strategic Economic Dialogue may be held right after the JCCT on December 12 and 13, he said. Bhatia and US Acting Under Secretary of Commerce Christopher Padilla were on a visit to China to make preparations for the upcoming JCCT meeting and the third SED between the two countries. During their visit they discussed issues on China's industrial policies, product safety and market access.
