The 48th International Radio Exhibition (IFA) opened in the German capital Berlin on Friday.
The IFA is one of the largest consumer electronics trade fairs in the world, providing exhibitors with the opportunity to present their latest products and developments to the public.
This year's event has attracted 1,245 manufacturers of screens, cameras and phones from 63 countries and regions.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel attended the opening ceremony of the fair on Thursday evening.
The event, ranking among the oldest industrial exhibitions in Germany, will last till Sept. 3.
Exhibitors reported receiving 2.75 billion euros (4.07 billion U.S. dollars) in orders from merchants at last year's event, promoting organizers to raise their expectations for this year's function.
