Port Introduction

The Daesan Regional Maritime Affairs & Fisheries Office has seven divisions and two branch offices. The major functions are as follows : management of maritime crew and vessels affairs, operation of the Daesan port, preservation of marine environment, construction of ports, and promotion of fisheries and marine product industries.

We are currently making every effort to complete the construction of the first and largest trading port in Chung Cheong province. It is now under construction and is planned to be completed by the year 2011. When the construction is finished, The Daesan port will be the new logistic hub in Korea and the closest ocean gate for the new administrative center of Korea - Sejong city.
