QATAR Airways Cargo has strengthened its international operations with the introduction of a third freighter and the launch of seven new cargo-only destinations.
The Airbus A300-600F joins a second freighter as part of a long-term strategy to develop an international network of cargo flights.
The carrier operates daily from Nairobi and Dar es Salaam to Doha with onward connections to a network of over 78 destinations. It operates two freighter services each week between Nairobi and Doha, which carry horticultural produce for export markets.
With the addition of the third freighter, Qatar Airways Cargo has increased the number of destinations it serves worldwide from nine to 16 cities. The new destinations are Algiers, Tunis, Milan, Istanbul, Karachi, Colombo and Johor Bahru in Malaysia.
