Helsinki to hold air cargo conference October 30 -31

THE 7th Air Cargo Economics Conference will be held in Helsinki from October 30 - 31 at the new Hilton-Vantaa Airport Hotel.

The event is expected to deliver insights for airport companies, ground handlers, investors, property developers, air carriers, suppliers, aviation experts and cargo companies on how to grow ancillary revenues and develop new services for their customers.

Speakers include Antero Lahtinen, senior vice president Finnair and managing director of Finnair Cargo.

Helsinki's future potential as a cargo gateway will also be on the agenda, as will the market potential for air cargo at Helsinki airport, the need for new terminal investments and a presentation on Finnair Cargo's terminal expansion plans, said a report by Air Cargo Asia Pacific magazine said.

The conference will also focus on air cargo infrastructure since several airports and logistics parks are investing heavily in developing new cargo facilities.
