Ports America appoints Telman general counsel

Ports America Group announced the appointment of Deborah H. Telman to the position of general counsel at the company's Iselin, N.J., headquarters.

Prior to joining Ports America Group, Telman served as chief counsel for mergers and acquisitions at The Boeing Co. in Chicago from 2002 to 2008. She also worked as a partner at Winston & Strawn and as an attorney at Hopkins & Sutter, both located in Chicago.

Ports America is the largest independent port terminal operator in North America operating at 97 terminals in the U.S. and Mexico.
