In January-August 2008, commercial seaport of Odessa handled 23.679.2 million tonnes of cargo (+11%, year-on-year), the company informs.
In the reported period, transshipment of dry cargo amounted to 11.612 million tonnes (+7%, year-on-year). Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo totaled 12.067.2 million tonnes (+15%).
In the 8-month period, the port’s container throughput totaled 365,645 TEU (+13%, year-on-year).
Odessa Commercial Sea Port is one of the largest ports of the Black-Azov Sea Basin.
