Hong Kong: Fender Replacement Works

From August 1 and for a period of approximately three months, fender replacement works to some of the dolphins in Shau Kei Wan Typhoon Shelter will be carried out.

The works will be carried out by one motor boat. The boat will work at one dolphin at a time. The hours of works will normally be from 0800 to 1800 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Outside the hours of works, the boat will be secured to a dolphin undergoing repairing.

The boat will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and at a slow speed to avoid generating excessive wash to the boat.
