Kuehne+Nagel signs ten-year contract with Britvic

Britvic Soft Drinks has outsourced its secondary distribution and vending machine replenishment services throughout the UK to KN Drinks Logistics, under a new ten-year contract.

Under the terms of the new agreement, the secondary retail and full service vending networks have been absorbed into the KN Drinks Logistics distribution network, with the respective employees transferring to Kuehne+Nagel under TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings [Protection of Employment] Regulations).

KN Drinks Logistics will deliver Britvic soft drinks to outlets across the country, and replenish 10,000 vending machines using a specialised fleet of vehicles, drivers and telemetry.

In addition, warehousing services for Britvic products will be provided in the KN Drinks Logistics shared-user environment.
