Three key companies, General Motors, Coors and Ozburn-Hessey Logistics have confirmed their participation in the speaker panel at eyefortransport’s Logistics Property & Site Selection Forum, to be held on January 30 – 31, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Miami Hotel.

Jeffrey Tew, head of site selection at General Motors, will discuss what can go wrong with facility location, the perils and pitfalls that can appear in network design, and how to make decisions when things aren’t what they seem.

Jack Buffington, director of operations with Coors, will reveal how to establish a win-win contract with your 3PL service provider that includes all that you need to know about facility location and development.

James Atkinson, head of all site selection decisions for Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, will analyse the key metrics for assessing the way inbound and outbound logistics affects your site selection processes, selecting the right site for your warehouse, and discovering potential complicating factors.

eyefortransport’s Logistics Property & Site Selection Forum has published the findings of a recent survey of more than 300 top executives in its new Logistics Property & Facility Report, which is available as a free download from www.eyefortransport.com/siteselection/report.shtml
