A draft master plan that would outline the Port of Tampa development and capital improvements over the next 20 years is expected to be ready for approval by the Tampa Port Authority Commission by the end of December.
The draft master plan has been substantially completed. It was presented to port stakeholders last week. Feedback from the port community will be put into the proposal, which will then go to the port commission for final approval. The commissioners would then add final suggestions and the plan would be voted on by the end of this year, according to the report prepared for last week stakeholders meeting.
