Belgian-based gas carrier Exmar, confirming the end of its pooling agreements with BW Gas, has announced a tie-up with a Greek gas carrier operator.
An Exmar statement says: “Prime Marine from Greece and Exmar have in place an agreement in principle whereby they will jointly operate and market five existing midsize vessels from Exmar and four midsize newbuildings (35,000cu m) ordered by Prime at HHI, that will be delivered within 2009 and early 2010. Exmar will be the commercial manager for the joint venture.
