AirBridgeCargo Airlines transports ¡®Spartacus¡¯ scenery

Stage scenery for Russia’s world famous Bolshoi Theatre has been transported from Moscow by AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) for a special production of ‘Spartacus’ in Hong Kong.

The Bolshoi Ballet and Orchestra will perform at the Grand Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Center, China, on September 17th 2008

The stage scenery was transported onboard one of ABC’s scheduled Boeing 747-400ER freighters that operate seven times a week from Moscow to Hong Kong.

ABC was chosen for this special delivery because of the reliability of its Boeing 747 cargo aircraft, the convenience of a non-stop flight and the airline’s professional approach and track record for cargo safety and flight security. The shipment arrived safely and on time in Hong Kong, earning praise from the Bolshoi Theatre’s representative, who thanked the Russian airline’s employees. 

AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), the scheduled cargo airline owned by Volga-Dnepr Group, is Russia’s largest international scheduled cargo airline. It commenced operations in 2004 and performs scheduled cargo operations on routes from and to Europe-Russia-Asia. The airline’s route network connects major European airports (Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Budapest) to prime Asian airports (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Nagoya) using Russian airspace.
